I just bought a new macbook pro 16 inch and installed bootcamp - unfortunately it doesnt seem to recognize my Thunderbolt Display. So, use the free Windows, and purchase a license if you decide that you need it. If there is a problem with your Windows version, the installer will probably let you know. You may not necessarily have that same experience.
